Ken CT and Old Henry .... Off the pavement and on to the water, thanks for bringing back some good memories for me of a worthy subject - Fall River MA. In 2004 my then Boy Scout son, his entire Scout Troop, myself and other Troop officials, drove 5 hours in four vans to visit Fall River for two days. The retired Battleship USS Massachusetts is permanently berthed there as a public exhibit. The group that owns the ship were generous to the point that they invited the entire Scout Troop to eat meals on-board the ship and they had us sleep in the (restored) sailor's hammocks down-below. All that and participating in tours of the ship. I encourage anyone of any age, who visits the area to tour the city and the ship.
