Should work facing down. They did it on all Model As.

Sending coil to Fl. will only take a week fom my expeience. I have just laid a temp coil between the head and intake. Worked for me. jmo.

When I did this on my '34, I laid the coil on its side and mounted it to the frame rail...No problem....

is it alright to mount an oil filled tube coil facing down or do they have to be facing up ? i have the coil adapter for the helmet dizzy i can use and want to mount a tube coil on the firewall till i can get the original sent out to skip in Fla. thanks.
