I got my pulley off , it is just bolted on , I was worried that my new pump would need my old hub . I didn't want to send off my core with parts I would need . I'll wait for my new pump and see what I need . Thanks Stan

I believe he has the early pump and the pulley is pressed onto the shaft. It's a cast pulley and may be difficult to get off. I had one of these a few years ago. I went to Napa Auto Parts and bought a new pump that that had the hub and then went to the local "bone yard" and found a pulley that would work on the hub.

The hub should come with the new pump. The green book is widely available. A good source is C&G. www.cgfordparts.com

I guess I meant the hub that the pulley bolts to . Will this come with the new water pump?

The pulley is held on by the four bolts that attach the fan. You can see both the "G" and "H" pumps on page 387 of the green book.

Does anyone know how to get the pulley off of a water pump for a 47 flat 6 ? Found a new pump at Kanters but I can't separate the pulley so I can send in my core . Thanks in advance . Stan
