Can anyone tell me any history/info on this blanket? It is a wool blanket made by Pendleton with the Early Ford V8 Club of America Logo on it. I picked it up recently and would like to know the history of it. Perhaps it was made for one of the Early Ford V8 National Meets? Thank You

I also have one. I believe they were ordered and available for purchase at the Mt Hood Western National Meet in the early 70's. I believe it was 1971. Mine is in a zippered plastic case with a clear front panel that displays the Early Ford V-8 logo on the blanket.

Great memory Tom! Those blankets were indeed presented to the registrants at the 1971 Western National Meet August 20-22 in Wemme, Oregon, at the foot of Mt. Hood. The blankets were made specially for the meet by Pendleton Woolen Mills. After the meet, a few leftover blankets were advertised for sale in the V-8 Times for $22, plus $1 shipping! Ken

Ken, in those days V-8ers drove a lot of open cars. I suspect the wives loved those blankets on cold days. I bought mine on e-Bay years ago for $15. There can't be a lot of them out there.
