I am closing in on the 32 and finally ordered a windshield gasket from Mac's. Question is, how do you get it to stay in the grooves around the edge of the windshield? I just can't make it stay in the groove, 2 hours of trying yesterday!!!

Both types are a challenge, but original frames much less so. My several experiences have been with Carpenter weather seals and while they take some time, spray silicone (but not on the corners), and a supply of popsicle sticks (to avoid marring the paint) to push them into the windshield frame. To get them to stay put in the corners you need to over-stretch them a bit on the top and sides.
