Yep, this is exactly what Skip told me when I stopped at his place in March. He can wind original type coils, with or without the Ford skript molded in the top. However, he said he could not rewind the Dennis Carpenter repro's because of the potting compound being used to manufacture his coils. John

Its been learned last nite that Skip Hanney in Fl. WILL rebuild NON-SCRIPT coils. Previous assumption was that he would not do them. Not true. great news. OMO ken ct.
