Gene, the wiring schematics are generally the same for ’46-’48 Fords. The cowl wiring harness changed substantially when Ford moved the horns from the inner left fender to mountings in front of the radiator in mid ‘47. That harness is a single piece 51A-14401 , that combines the generator, starter, temperature, oil pressure, horn relay, coil wiring, dash gauges and lights, headlight switch, and dimmer switch all in one assembly. If the horns are on the inner fender, then the diagram John included is the one to use for the part numbers. I've never seen an updated '47-'48 diagram. The wiring color codes in the enclosed link are the same. http://www.vanpeltsales.com/FH_web/FH_images/FH_electrical-pics/Flathead_Electrical_wiring1946-48car.jpg

Check Mac at Van Pelt http://www.vanpeltsales.com/FH_web/FH_images/FH_electrical-pics/Flathead_Electrical_wirediagram1946-48car.jpg for the wiring diagram. John
