I had my 47 vacuum motor refurbished by Wiperman. Motor works fine but when I installed it the wipers only seem to traverse about 2/3 of the split windshield. Wiperman though I may have incorrectly installed the wiper brackets but I can't see any other way to hook them up. Is this the normal wiper movement? Appreciate any advice.

He may be right, but note that there are adjustments to be made in any case. If Wiperman can't offer better advice than that, take your future business to Kent Jaquith in Oregon. In fact, he'd be the one to ask now if you ask nice. Kent Jaquith, 2633 SW Obsidian # 15, Redmond, Oregon (541) 923-4319 Clean-Sweep Windshield Wiper Motor Service, Sales and Rebuilding

Your wipers should travel from ret until they are vertical. This should be about 1 inch from the center bar. They should then travel on the down-stroke until the wiper tip is about 2 inches from the bottom of the windshield.
