Hello again Folks, I am about to try to restore several 36 ford headlights. My problem is finding the parts like the mounting bolt, the clip to hold the bolt in place, and the reinforcing plate that is riveted to the bucket where the mounting bolt passes through the bucket. these parts seem to rust worse than the bucket itself. Thanks for any help to find a source for these parts.. Calls or emails appreciated Dale T. 207-696-8818 or dalet1944@yahoo.com

Suggest you try contacting Mike at Third Gen in Tennessee 1-844-327-5988. He's an EFV8 Club member. We've bought lots of flathead era parts from him, and it's always a happy experience. If you use Ebay, the Third Gen store comes up under "1935fordtn".

Hello daleT, For nuts and bolts of the early Ford, check with Roy Nacewicz Enterprizes. His catalog is on his web site and if you don't see what you need, call. He is a very knowledgeable and nice guy to talk with. I've bought bolt and nut sets in the past and there is nothing better than having all the right hardware at hand when putting the old bits back on. Good luck, 42OINK

Thank you for the reply but I have spoken with Roy and he does not carry any of the repair parts for the head light buckets. He does have the special nut and washer for mounting the bucket to the fender, but not the bolt.
