Ready to replace all the headlight wiring but have a problem. I released the catch under the trim ring thinking the trim ring and lens would come off. Can't remove them, so is there something I'm missing. Want to replace the wiring and sockets to complete front end wiring. Thanks for any suggestions.

Its probably stuck from age. Hit litely with the palm of your hand it should pop free.Be ready to catch it or have an extra pr of hands under it so it don't fall to the floor. ken ct.

Ken, It took more than using my palm to hit the trim ring. Had to pry, carefully, with a screwdriver at the bottom of the trim ring. But they are off and now I car replace the wiring. Thanks, Roger
