I'm still looking for the LH side hood trim. No success in the classifieds, just some scammer wanting me to send $$$ without showing me what I'm buying. Where can I find a part number for this piece?

The left side hood moulding for a deluxe is 81A-16723-B. And good luck as the hold up typically bent the hood (when someone just tried to close the hood improperly) and damaged the moulding too. So good ones are really scarce.

They can be repaired. I've even seen some that were welded (stainless wire), but slight color difference. Lightly bent can be straightened perfectly. If you're not good at it, have a pro do it, they are worth big bucks.

I have had the RH side fixed & polished. The LH side had holes drilled in it to attach it and it also looks like it had been run over in a few places. My polisher said there wasn't a chance in the world it could be fixed. Anyway, thanks for the PN. I'll keep on looking.

Frosty, what your polisher should have said is that there wasn't a chance in the world that HE could fix it. I hope you didn't chuck it out. Try Turners Auto Wrecking in Fresno California. Two brothers, one runs the yard, the other does the trim repair and polishing. Excellent workmanship, show quality.
