Thanks Tom, I've had this car for 53 years and after posting this, I went back out with my glasses on this time and saw the retainer spring, and it all came back to me. I used to take this apart, but discovered that the wires weren't connected so I abandoned the idea when I was 16 years old. I'm just now putting in a Mohair interior after having the 1950's era Naugahide interior all these years. It served me well. Thanks for the quick response to my question. Hope I can help you some time. I also have a '35 Ford of the same body style. It's fresh out of a barn in 1970 and belonged to my older sister, but her husband torn it all apart and it is now a basket case. Thanks again Tom, Ernie

If you look closely you will see a snap ring retainer. You will need a very small screwdriver to spring it out. Beware, as soon as the ring snaps out the glass will fall like a rock! Tom

I am installing a new interior in my 36 Fordor sedan, and can't get the dome light glass and bezel to come loose. Does anyone know how these are attached?
