Bill, you should have two such vacuum lines from your manifold. The reaqr port is for the wiper, which you should now plug, but the front port is for your distributor, which should remain.

You should be able to plug the hole however, if you are into period accessories, a Trico Fan that mounts to your column could operate of the port. In my opinion, it would look cool in any 30s car.

On my '36 Tudor, I have a vacuum line running out of the left side of the intake manifold, just ahead of the fuel pump. Since I now have electric wipers, can I plug this hole or is there another use I should look for?
