My 36 ford 4-dr sedan has an interior light above me. I don't know where the switch is. The light above is round with a round chrome piece with the plastic in the middle. How do I take this chrome piece off to see if I can fix it. Thanks for any Info Guys Hal

For your car the switch is on the passenger door "B" pillar just to the rear of a passenger (in the front seat) head. The lens is frosted glass and it is held in by a round snap ring around the glass. I would suggest you do not remove the light, the wires are short. Check for a burned out light bulb then remove the door pillar switch and check for power there and make sure the switch is working.

Thanks 40 coupe Thanks for your info, there is no switch on that "B" pillar. The car had the interior upholstered' so the switch must have been removed and covered over. Oh, well maybe I can make it work some other way Hal
