What is the lighter blue color used in 1952, Alpine or Glacier Blue? I know the dark blue was Sheridan. Thank you.

Steve, There were several blues in 1952, including all three you mentioned. To see a color chip chart, go here http://www.tcpglobal.com/aclchip.aspx?image=1952-ford-pg01.jpg. Ken

Hi Ken, page 5 on that color chart list's Alpine Blue as the 1952 color but states the chart is not authenticated to EFV8 standards. I want to advertise for a '52 in the correct light blue color. Just prior to my birth, my mom made my dad by a new car and he purchased a '52 Customline 4dr in the light blue color. It was the family car until '63 and I'd like to try and find one.

Steve, I just checked the Club's V-8 Album published in 1985. On page 318 it shows the two available 1952 blue colors as Sheridan Blue and Alpine Blue, so you should be safe specifying Alpine Blue. The Ditzler paint chip should be a close approximation of the color. Ken
