Need some help removing the hand throttle linkage parts for a 97. According to Vern Tardel's book, you have to "Knock out the pin in the throttle shaft with a punch..." Is that pin tapered? Does it matter which side you punch from? Also, I've looked all over the Net and can't find replacements for the related parts: 9615, 9624, 9614, and 357471-S. Anyone have any extras? Thanks

Ken Ct, Many thanks for the information and for supplying parts that even the large V8 Ford vendors could not provide. Much appreciated!

No problem Bob.I try to keep on hand what the big guys cant get.Remember to support the end of the shaft when knocking out or installing the tapered pin. The lever points up and swings from approx. 10 am to 2 pm. ken ct. your welcome.
