My manual says the horns mount behind and below the radiator. I don't see an obvious location. Does anyone have a picture or better description of the location? (They were in the trunk of the car when I got it.)

Frosty, is your horn panel in the grille? If so line the horns up in the horn panel holes and the look to see where the bracket bolts to the frame. The V-8 Club's 38-39 book has a good picture of the horns, so you can determine the left and right horn and bracket.Photo is on page 4-30 if you have the book.

Frosty: See attached: (please ignore non-original stuff like oil filter, engine vintage, etc). This should give you an idea of how they mount however.
