I just rebuilt my Stromberg 81 Carburetor. Everything seemed to go back together fine, started and runs great, however, it is weeping gas out of the Float Pin hole. Tried to tighten, did not seem to do any good. Anyone have this happen to them? How did you fix the problem? Thank you CR

Are you sure that you set the float level correctly? It must be done with the horn set upside down.

Thank you for the help, I double checked the float level and it appears to be ok. I purchased a new float pin today and will try it this weekend. CR

Good for you. Using Teflon tape can be a problem if any ends up in the system, however. It has a nasty habit of clogging jets, passages, etc.
