Is there some sort of a secret to mount hte 37 Deluxe horns? I have a correct pair and mount my car is a standard(single horn) but has the two hole front panel and all standard harnesses have the Deluxe extra wiring. Nothing clears to allow bracket to fit on crossmember almost looks like horns need to be assembled to bracket after it is bolted down,or they can only be installed before radiator or engine is in place.Has to be someway,Ford wouldn't have made it this difficult would they?

Glad to hear you found a pair of horns. "THE 1937 FORD BOOK" shows this installation in APPENDIX K. They mount on the Driver's side of the firewall with a bracket and a brace. I can scan in the two pages of instructions and post them if you do not have this Book. (I hope I do not get penalized for doing this as it is copyrighted material) Lincoln.

No Lincoln. 1937 DeLuxe horns install in front of the radiator just below the grille. Appendix K refers only to accessory matched horns, not the factory DeLuxe horns. 37 Coupe: Install one horn to the bracket. Install this combine to the correct area under the grill; then install the second horn to the bracket/horn in place. That is how I did it.

Thanks Tony that worked. Ford must have figured once these were in place at assembly they never needed to be serviced.
