Early Vs late 36 are different. Is your handle more towards the front of the door or in the middle? Also some differences in coupes and 4 doors. What length do you need from the latch to the handle? I have one that I could remove from the latch

I have to assume that when you say you need a "door remote" you are referring to the inside handle assembly with the rod that attaches to the latch?

flatfoot: Here's what I found out while working on my pickup. Most Ford latches and mechanisms are the same. So, your 36 maybe very similar to a 1937, 38, 39. I was able to use a 81T in my 1936 pickup, and once the door panel goes on, only I (and everyone who reads this) will know.

I am in need of a lt front door inside remote complete w/o the latch. Anyone out know where might find it. At least under $250. These must be really rare. I can't find any repos. NOS is $595 a pair. WOW!! Help please. Last thing I need before I fire this car up and drive it.
