I have converted my '34 to a 6 volt fuel level sending unit but have been unable to find a 6 volt dash gauge. I'd like to have an under dash unit. Any ideas? Funny, last time I was looking ( 1955 )there were plenty of SW gauges available.

Don't know what a 34 gauge looks like but here are some that claim to work on a 34 on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&mvsub=1&_mcatda=true&_nkw=gas%20gauge%201934%20Ford&selfil=1%2C2&selvel=1934~Ford~-~-~-

Thanks for the lead Old Henry. I bid on the SW fuel gauge but the reserved, I learned after the auction was completed $250. Too rich for me, I'm not building a period hot rod, I just want to know how much fuel I have in the tank. Anybody? Suggestions?

google "6v electric fuel gauge". They are available for older jeeps, farm equipment, etc, for around $40. Be aware that fuel gauges are calibrated for sending units operating within certain ohm ranges. If a gauge doesn't list compatible senders, call the vendor to get the info.
