TomO, I tried him, he has no parts for my regular. He sent me to Lowell Kimball in Ne. He will not sell parts and only sells rebuilt regulars in pairs. But thanks for the effort.

bo8109b I guess I used wrong description , the springs are in the the regulator, that keep tension on the gears, so the window will stay in what're ever position you crank it to.. Thanks for your response.

Have a '48 Merc convert. that should have the same quarter window set up as yours. Has no window lift springs. Window is held up by the crank mechanism and an adjustable set screw in the door jamb acts as a stop. A large sprng beneath attaches to the top irons.

Have a weak spring on my quarter window , window will not stay up, 48 convertible. Does any one know where replacements can be purchased. Thanks, Rick
