Thank you 42wagon. It took me so long to type the last reply that I did not see yours! I was told that the adapter V-126-B was also used on the Lincoln V12, I am wondering if that is right?. Randy

Randy I have a timing fixture although not a KR Wilson. It too has an adapter. I believe the fixture will time all distributors from 32 to 48. However there was a change in 41 from a three bolt mounting to a two bolt mounting. This is what the adapter is for. At least it is in mine. Ted

Randy, The KRW Timing Fixture instructions begin on page 341 of the (reprint) 1938-1940 Ford V8 Service Bulletins. This is Subject No. 12127 Page 59 of the original Bulletins, dated April 15, 1938. You should note that even then, the instructions begin by saying that the Stroboscope method is preferred to the Timing Fixture. Don't throw it away, though... Sell it to me and I'll use it a wall hanger!

Hi, I purchased a KR Wilon timing tool model V-126, it has a red metal base and a adapter plate V-126-B. I would like to know what years of distributors it will time, and what the adapter V-126-B is for?. I will need to buy the instructions for it be for I use it. Thanks, Randy.
