I just noticed there is some kind of switch under the carpet of my 46 coupe. It is between the clutch pedal and the brake pedal. I haven't pulled up the carpet yet but it feels similar to a Model T starter switch. Any idea what this is. I pushed down on it but nothing seems to happen. The car has a starter button on the dashboard.

With help from one of the local Model T guys I have found out the floor switch is a high beam/low beam switch. Apparently this was quite common on Australian cars up until the mid 70s. Maybe an ANZ only feature? The foot switch radio change sounds pretty cool. I may set it up for that if I put in a radio.

In the US cars, the dimmer switch is placed in the upper left hand corner of the floor board.
