I would cast a third vote for Richard Lacy. His brake conversions are designed and made very well. Everything is basically a bolt on. Another good way to go is keep the mechanicals. Go through the complete system replacing any worn components, and install Flathead Ted's brake equalizers. If done right, I believe they work as well as the '39-'48 early Ford hydraulic brakes.

If you are a member, and have V8 Times magazine, look for Dave Wilton's ad. Converting to hydraulic brakes on a very old car takes knowledge and experience to be safe. The brakes are not a place to learn what really works.
