On the 36 you should have the "swing out" quarter windows.Those are held in with the garnsh mouldings. Remove the screws in the garnish and then push the assembly inward. You will have to tip it in far enough to be able to clear the top of the opening so you can lift upward on the assembly.It has to come up as the swivel pin for the window sticks down inside the body.
