Prepping my Tudor for Lk Tahoe judging event and had a qualified judge walk up to my car and his first words were, "those hubcaps are no good" ... the measurement of the raised area on my repro's is 5-1/4" compared to the measurement of my original locking hubcap at 5-3/4" ... can't find originals (yet) so where should I go to get 'correct' repro's? ...

Chas34, call around to the various V-8 parts suppliers and ask them about their hubcaps. There are some differences from repo cap to repo cap. You can check with the Early Ford Store in San Dimas, Ca.(ph#909-305-1955) who has NOS parts and good used parts. Another source is All Ford parts in Campbell, Ca.(ph# 800-532-1932). Make sure when you check on repo caps they are stainless steel and not chrome plated steel.
