I wouldn't pay that much for a set. Offer him a more realistic price. Maybe think about putting an ad on Fordbarn. Check with Lloyd Tiffany who posted that he has a pair in this ad. http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=99448 JM

By the time you pay the shipping you would be in the glass ones almost $300.Did you make an offer on the steel ones? Maybe the seller might negotiate.

Surprisingly, these things occasionally pop-up on "our favorite auction site" for $100-$150. In my opinion, a price of $425 is definitely in a class by itself. Tom

It also sounds high to me, but they are not reproduced and when is the last time you saw a set for sale? It all comes down to how bad you need them and if you need them now. If you bought your car years ago you probably bought it way below today's market value, so spending too much on fender panels is not going to make a difference at this point. If you wait around you may find a set for $200 or so, but how long might you wait? If I had a car that was close to being finished and these were the key parts I needed to complete the job I would just step up and get them. Just make sure the seller is a legitimate person. Scammers roam these sites, especially thew want ads , so be wary of any ad from overseas or where the seller uses poor English in describing the part. You might ask for photos of the parts.

I found a set of 1935 inner Fender aprons, they are the later style louverd, they are in perfect condition, no rust or nothing cut off of them. I was wondering what they are worth? Does anyone have an idea? The person is asking $425
