Bob, LB is very good about taking care of problems. Headliners are tricky and trying to make one yourself is not easy if you have never done one.By the time you buy the material and try make one it's easier and sometimes cheaper to buy one from the experts. If the experts make a mistake they take care of it. If you make the mistake it's on you.

Good advice, Tom. We have used L-B headliners, and found them of very high quality. They are more complicated than may appear, due to the need to have the bow pockets correctly placed. The only problem I ever had was when their "blind stitch" machine failed, and I found the headliner hanging loose the next day. L-B promptly made and sent a replacement at no charge, and overnighted it to me. Their number is 1-800-221-5408. Unless you are a skilled and experienced car trimmer, I wouldn't try to make my own.

I'm not sure where you find a pattern. I do know that you can call Mac's or LeBaron-Bonney and buy a headliner and they are not too expensive. Check the internet and there are other companies that make headliners.
