Be sure that there is adequate clearance between the exhaust system and chassis parts, as the system expands quite a bit when it is hot, and can cause interference that produces rattles, etc.

It could be the front radius rod (wishbone) ball is worn. - Part# B3446R. It's made of rubber. See it at this link: http://macsautoparts.com/campaign_product.asp?camid=F30&pn=JS0R3CHL1075747 You can also try this link for a picture: http://www.rodandcustommagazine.com/techarticles/0810rc_old_ford_wishbones/photo_04.html It's an easy fix.

36 coupe with a noise coming from underneath the car when in bumpy road or back pasture. Sounds like the tail pipe or muffler is hitting. Could not duplicate by trying to lift or shake the car to hear the knock. Seems to have clearance along the exhaust system. Was wondering is there a way to jack or position the car to simulate road movement?? Maybe there is a way or maybe just have to put more effort in shaking the car. Thanks
