Here is the '40 top items from the manusl. That book is almost 500 pages, and a very valuable source.

I don't know of any specific books regarding the '40 convertible top, but there is info in the 39-48 shop manual produced in Canada. C&G has them as item V-222. I can scan and post some details if you wish. The '40 top was vacuum operated, and used only one year. It is unique and can be difficult to make work consistantly.

Is there a 1940 Convertible Top Book? If so, does anyone know how to obtain a copy? I am restoring my 1940 convertible and such a book would be helpful.
