Hello, I am having trouble finding a set of front brake drums for my '56 wagon. Everywhere I look, it will state "except wagon". I wonder what the difference is between these and the ones on a sedan. Anyone have any idea where I can purchase these? They must be super rare! Thanks, Ronald

Ronald: A couple of suggestions: 1. I'd contact Dennis Carpenter http://www.dennis-carpenter.com/cars.php, as he specializes in later Fords, and: 2. I'd ask the same question of the good folks over at Fordbarn www.fordbarn.com/. Given the potential loading of all 3-seats in a wagon, (200x9=1800 lbs.)I suspect that the drums were wider or larger diameter.

The Ford parts manual shows that all 55 & 56 Fords and Thunderbirds use the same front drum. We, and others, sell a replacement front drum for the 55/56 T-Birds. www.classictbird.com
