David, go to the home page and click on forms. You can download a judging form and see all of the standard deductions. They did not deduct points for my 40 for not having the script.

Thank you. Drake has them - unfortunately not the onmes with the Ford script. But, the ones I have (with alignment tabs) don't have the Ford script either so at least I'm a little closer. Does anyone know how many points they deduct for not having the Ford script on the headlights?

David, The judges do check this and there is a standard 3-point deduction for each headlight with the alignment tabs. I recently purchased a pair of headlights from Bob Drake that do not have the tabs. These are new Wagner lights and may still be available from Drake. I would give them a call. Ken

I did not lose any points for those tabs at the Early Ford V8 Western National concourse judging.

I understand that original headlights did not have those three little glass "nubs" (alignment tabs) on them and points are deducted in concourse judging if they're present. Since I cannot find headlights without the alighnment tabs, what have others done about this issue? Are they available without the tabs anywhetre? Can they be ground off? How closely do the judges look? Insight/advice appreciated.
