I have a 1937 Ford Club Cabriolet that I need to replace the side window frame & glass gasket material. I have looked in several catalogs and not found the side window gasket material. I assume any Ford convertible 1935 to 1937 would use the same material. Also, does anyone reproduce the side window frames?

Look in the C&G online catalog www.cgfordparts.com They have a very large variety of seals. I don't know of anyone who reproduces the entire frame. If you are replacing the glass, you will need to carefully measure the thickness of the glass, particularly if it is new, and measure the width of the groove in the frame to select the correct thickness of the necessary packing. Don't rely on modern car glass places. Most of them know little or nothing about old car windows.

Thanks for the tip. I believe they have what I need. I will take the measurements and give them a call.

Dennis Carpenter makes the rubber seals. There are two different ones in the package 48-7621478 The bottom seal has a lip that goes toward the outside. I here there is a Co or two that may reproduce the frame. Cabriolet side window frames made: NC Industries Sayre, PA 570 888-2616 Or Windsor Fab. Battle Creek, MI 269 964-2128 The frame for the Cabriolet is the same from 35-39

Thanks fo rthe tips. I will contact both companies. I would like to replace the frames because mine are scratched and if they are good reproductions they would probably be less than restoration of the originals.
