called them this morning, 125$ to send him the trip meter and for him to fix it. didn't sound like he wanted to just send me a counter, a little bit to out of my price range for a counter wheel. i think since im going to try some jb weld or some epoxy and a toothpick and try to build up the dogtooth little by little over the next week or two.

Try Bob's Speedometer in Howell, Mi. 1 800 592 9673 www.bobsspeedometer.com They are knowledgeable and I have used them. They offer a quick turn around if you send it to them for the work.

took apart the speedometer to find out why the trip meter wasn't working, the tenths mile spins, but the rest don't, turns out the little cog that trips the 1mile to turn over on the tenths mile wheel is worn down . does anyone know where to acquire a new tenths wheel? im pretty sure the 40 ford dlx has the same "guts" as my 40 merc. the cluster is a waltham brand.
