Did 46-48 Ford & Mercury convertibles come with foot rests behind the front seat?

According to the V-8 Club's 41-48 Ford book only the tudor and fordor sedans had footrests attached to the rear of the front seats. This is noted on page 3-25 of the book. If you do not have this book it is a wealth of information on the 41-48 Ford cars and can be purchased on the front page of this site.

Thanks for the reference. I have the book but didn't think to look in it.

I have a '47 Ford convertible, and there are no foot rests. My car was a big project, and in searching for info, I didn't find any reference to them. Convertibles are different from closed cars in many ways.
