If you have a deluxe car the steering wheel was brown. If you have a super deluxe car the wheel on the early cars was two-toned;Gun Metal Blue on the center and Blue-Gray on the rim. The later cars in 46 had the Light Blue-Gray wheel which carried on to 1947. This information is from the V-8 Club's 41-48 book. If your car was a maroon car the color was called Dynamic Maroon.

Order a copy of the Club's excellent 1941-48 book. It gives the correct interior colors for all the '46 models. They range from the "steering wheel brown" for the deluxe series, with others "gun metal blue with blue-gray rim", etc. Anyone who has a 41-48 Ford must have this book. It will tell you everything you want to know about your car.
