Does anyone have the correct paint code or formula for a 1947 239 V8 passenger engine (Antique Ford Blue, I think). I am looking a code that will work with a Dupont Centari, PPG or similar paint. Thanks, Scott

Bill Hirsch makes very good high-temp engine enamel that has proved to be correct for the application. Rather than "brewing" your own, it might be cheaper in the long run to simply purchase his pre-mixed color. http://www.hirschauto.com/prodinfo.asp?number=EE-QUART&variation=FOR%20BLUE

I agree. I used Bill Hirsch's except mine was green.

Thank you for the suggestions. I went to Bill Hirsh's site and ordered the paint. Thanks again, Scott
