That's a beautiful car! I can't wait to take my 39 to it's first show
-I know I have an old car, that's where my knowledge ends, Lance

Another great car. I'm glad attention is being paid to two and four doors. They have been neglected for far too long. The last time I showed my '47 convertible, the first place in the class was a pristine '42 sedan coupe. I had never seen one before, and it was immaculate. For a short production year, I'm often surprised how many 42s are still around. Sedans offer a good chance to experience the old car hobby. Most years, they led production numbers, and are still often available at a price level many more can afford.

We had our '42 Tudor Sedan, Eleanor, at the annual Duryea Days show in Boyertown a couple weekends ago - her first show. We had a display on the Red Cross Motor Corps setup in the trunk, her tool displays out, and our '40s vintage picnic set. Eleanor has original paint, interior and running gear except for brake cylinders, muffler, and tailpipe.
