There is a K R Wilson 77230W on Ebay right now but it looks different than the drawing.

The tool can be fabricated from 1/8" flat stock. I have one. If you wish, I can send you a drawing that you can use as a pattern to fabricate one. If interested, e-mail me at c.gorris@prodigy.net with your address.

John: The tool for front band adjustment is 7225. The rear band tool is 7195. I didn't find 77270 in my '53 Ford-O-Matic manuals. There is another special tool for linkage seal installation, but that isn't it either.

I am attaching a diagram of the tool. It doesn't have dimensions, but I do have the instructions for adjusting the throttle linkage if you don't have them.

Adjustment of the Throttle/Transmission linkage on my 53 Fordomatic calls for the use of a Ford tool # 77230-FA. Does anyone know if this is available someplace, or does someone have dimensions for it so that I might machine one?
