YES. I had a set of the iron ones, that had a picture of the 8 cylinders embossed on each head, my 3 cents 37RAGTOPMAN

Those are the ones that have the firing order...right?

I always thought the 77 meant 1937 TRUCK,with might have had a little higher compression,? my 3 cents 37RAGTOPMAN

The "green book" shows the 77-6050-A as correct for the '37 21 stud engine with domed pistons. That would be an iron head. No "E" suffix is listed.

Is there a substantial functional difference between 77E heads (English?) and the 77 (or no part number) heads? Also, the suffix "A" coupled with 77 appears to designate a later run rather than aluminum...correct?
