Does anyone have a original 37 standard with original woodgraining that can send me some detailed digital pictures? Thanks in advance Don Vagasky Tucson Az.

To the best of my knowledge, the '37 Standard dash was not wood grained. I think it was painted a solid color.

You might want to get and check the Club's 1937 Restorers Book.

Both the 37 standard and deluxe had the woodgrained dash. The standard had a horizontal mahogany grain and the deluxe used a horizontal American Walnut grain. This information can be found on page 3-11 of the V-8 Club's '37 book.On page CP-3 there is a great color photo of the mahogany woodgrain. If you do not have the '37 book you definitely need it if you are restoring a '37. You can purchase it on-line on the main page of this site.
