How about Bob Drake repos. I've heard they are pretty good, but costly. Another is Sacramento Vintage.

I had to replace the back bumper on my '47, and looked for months. Most vendors either didn't have them, or promised that they might have then in a few months or a year. I finally found them at the Bumper Boyz in LA. They also had the guards. You can find their website by entering their name. Their stuff was excellent quality.

Most of the V-8 parts vendors carry the repo '36 bumpers. You can get them in chrome or stainless steel. Keep in mind that the repos look great, but are not spring steel like the originals.

The repo bumpers also lack the ridge on the backside. The ridge has always been one of the first things a Judge will look for on the Concourse.

Al, you might want to reconsider your answer about the lack of a ridge on the back of the repo bumper. Most of the repo bumpers do in fact have the ridge on the back. A friend has the repo bumpers on his 39 and the back has the ridge just like factory. A second friend also has a repo front bumper on his 35 and it also has the ridges on the back.

I think I have one (no bolts or brackets) that will need some refubishment - you'll have to judge from a picture. If you're interested e-mail me at nmacintyre@roadrunner.com

Al, they are not new products. The repo 39 bumpers are three years old and the repo 35 bumper is 10 years old.
