Hey guys, I have a '39 standard sedan. The middle of the dash has a "grille" in it. I've noticed that not all models have this. Can anyone give me a clue what the difference is? Thanks in advance, Rod

Sir/Madame, Any and all '39 Standards (as well as Deluxe)had the radio speaker grille in center dash directly above the reado controls or radio "delete plate"(as Ford called it) when no radio was installed.

Hi, and thanks for the reply. That explains the plate in the center of some of the dashs I've seen. Thanks again, Rod
