Can anyone give me the torque specs on front spring u-bolts on 40 sedan? Thanks,Russell

I'v never seen torque specs for the spring clips. They should be drawn down tightly, of course, but be sure that the head of the tie bolt is seated in the hole in the cross member before you cinch it up, or damage to the spring will result.

In addition to Bob's advice you need to use a small piece of frame webbing to put between the top of the spring and the crossmember.Metal to maetal will eventually cause a crack in the crossmember.
