I just saw a post on Fordbarn reporting the passing of Waymon Brownlee. Waymon was a real gentleman and served many years on the V-8 Club's National Board of Directors. He also served many years as the National Chief Judge. Waymon owned Brownlee's Olde Time Auto Parts and was a staunch supporter and promoter of the Early Ford V-8 Club. He will be missed by many, many people.

I will miss Waymon. I first met him at the Central National meet in Indianapolis in 1981 when we both judged Mercurys. I learned a lot from him over the years and no had more knowledge of the 42-48 Mercury than he did. He was always willing to help out whith information and parts if he had them.

Here is the funeral arrangement link. If you would like to leave a message for Shirley and family, I urge you to do so. We lost a very fair, and helpful man. http://stewartfh.com/
