The doors off a 4 door sedan will most likely fit. They are the same width. There may be some difference in the curvature of the upper door frame where it meets the curve of the roof. Make a cardboard template of the upper part of the 4 door sedan door and compare it to a coupe door.

There is a 37 ford coupe running around town. A friend said they used a back door from a four door on the coupe. I am not always sure about his information. He said they had to do a little adjusting to make it work. I would like to know more about your engine. I am going to install a 49-53 engine in an old 34 hot rod. What is the engine in your 37? I heard that the intake manifolds will interchange between a 39-48 and 49-53. I could not tell by your picture which engine you were using. I have always like red flat heads thanks.

My engine is a 49 8BA, with 8RT truck pan, new 37-48 water pumps to get the ball bearings, a 42 crab distributor, 59AB cam, 41 crank pulley, a redrilled 8BA flywheel for the 9" clutch, a 51 Mercury intake with a Chevy 2GC carb, 3 5/16 bore, a little port and relief, full flow oil (90%), EAB heads, and have yet to fire it up. I think there is a breather tube problem when using an early intake on an 8BA but I am not sure so don't take it for Gospel. Zeke
