I was referring to the vent windows. I agree that the rear quarter windows are the same. I misunderstood your question. However, as said, the front vent window trim is different. I used plated escutcheons elsewhere on my '47 convertible instead of plastic, as the plastic type didn't match other parts of the trim. I had to settle for plastic for the vents, and they are far from matching the dash or NOS steering wheel colors.

Thanks for the info. I had also emailed Bob Drake's technical site and they confirmed that the quarter window escutcheons are the same size as the door and window handle escutcheons.

On my 48 Mercury convertible, the 1/4 window escutcheons are the same size as the door handle and window handle on the door. The vent window escutcheons are small. The shape of the Mercury escutectons at all locations except the vent window are different than a Ford, but I think the size is the same at all locations. Bill Large

The quarter window escutcheons are smaller. We bought ours from Drake.

Are the quarter window crank handle escutcheons for a 48 Ford convertible the same as the escutcheons for the door and window crank handles?
