NGK makes plugs for your car, no need to put in adapters that may cause problems down the road, you might have to go to a auto parts place and order, hope this helps,37RAGTOPMAN I have a few sets of the NGK'S for 33-38 FORDS.,with the 7/8 spark plug,

I have an engine which is sort of cobbled from parts. I spend over a $100 trying to find plugs. It now seems they are too big for over the counter stuff. Should I use adapters and if so how do I determine the current threads. The eight spark plug holes appear to be 7/8ths thread but, is it a standard, a fine or a pipe thread. How do I measure, adapt, and thus bring myself up to speed so that I can get the truck a 32 Ford Fire Pumper up to speed too. Is it possible to employ adapters and thus take advantage of 14mm technology. Today, I'm plugless...frustrated and sol. Thanks in advance for any help you experts can give me. WyEtte
