Don't over oil that bushing. Just a couple drops every 1000 miles - max. I rebuild a lot of generators and see many that are oil soaked from over oiling.

One bushing on the back with oil cup. Sealed bearing on the front.

Good Evening I have what I believe to be an all original 1938 Fordor Deluxe. My manual indicates there should be a lubrication cup for both bushings on the generator. On the back, non pulley side, it’s in plain sight. On the front or pulley side, I can’t find a point to lubricate it. See attached photos. Please advise. Thanks
